Masquearade Ball

This Costume is based on a Masquerade Theme.

I made this during the first COVID-19 lockdown, which was great as it challenged me to be more sustainable and use materials and fabrics that I already had at home which were left over from other projects.

Materials used were leatherette (bodice), velvet and satin (skirt), and netting, which was added at the hips as a creative representation of the wide silhouette produced from 18th century undergarments, such as the Pannier.
